Many of our clients donate generously to charitable organizations. However, they sometimes need our assistance to ensure that their contributions, especially significant legacy gifts, are structured to maximize the benefits to the charities without jeopardizing the financial security of their family.

Charitable giving services

  • Identify the charities to benefit (specified registered charities, public foundations, private foundations or donor-advised funds)
  • Determine the amount and timing of gifts to charitable organizations
  • Discuss and recommend funding strategies (donation of securities or other assets; use of life insurance; charitable gift annuities; charitable remainder trusts; estate bequests)
  • Assist in implementing the selected donation strategies
