David is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). David has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Queen's University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Western Ontario and has completed the Canadian Securities Course with honours.
David has provided personal finance and tax advice since 1975 and he established an advice-only financial planning practice in 1986. He assists clients in a wide variety of financial circumstances and has extensive experience with senior executives, families, trusts and estates.
David is a former Director of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners in Ontario.
David is married with two children. He volunteers time with the Tourette Syndrome Foundation. He has always been an avid skier and more recently, a snowboarder. David is also working on his golf. David enjoys travel and has been to a number of remote corners of the world.
Hitting the slopes
I enjoy spending as much time as I can outdoors, which may be anything from gardening chores to rounds of golf in the summer to skiing or skating in the winter. Travel and heading to the cottage are also high on the list.
